Wow so biased... Read from different sources before thinking that these trails are only chemicals. It's water (vapor) that composed it and it has this appearance because it was heated by the engines then cooled by the cold air. If you want to change something, try looking at the carbon monoxide which is far more dangerous at the moment simply because ocean beds are full of them and they are releasing it right know. it's funny with all our technology, you'd think this idea wouldn't seem so strange - its cheaper, quicker and I wouldve thought that would be important to big businesses, but obviously not...

If you have not seen the documentary movie 'The Age of Stupid' it is a real eye opener to what can happen to our planet by 2055 if we don't bring current emissions to a halt (from rising) by 2015. Highly recommend it.

We haven't had a foreign holiday since 1990..are we worse off from not flying anywhere...don't think so...kids have never flown and they appear not to have suffered either.
