A Ghost Forest In Trafalgar Square

This wonderful new project by artist Angela Palmer raises public awareness about the link between deforestation and global warming ahead of next month's Copenhagen conference.

Ten tree stumps, roots and all, from a commercially logged rainforest in Ghana will be displayed as a “ghost forest” in London's Trafalgar Square until Nov 22nd. You can see the live web cam here ..

The installation is moving to Copenhagen from 7-18 December in time for the conference.

It's a magical, eerie, beautiful Creativity Vs. Climate Change thing. (The Ghost Forest, not Copenhagen - although that's perfectly nice too).
