Ah, the good old Dutch and their penchant for cycling. They really can't get enough of it. Not content with just being better at it than everyone else, they also went and invented the Buscycle.
Bright yellow and with room for up to 11 kids (plus a grown up of course), the Buscycle is a people powered school bus. The kids get an early taster of the joys of Pedaling the Pedals and it's great for expelling some of that unstoppable energy that children have. The giant tandem has a motor for the really steep hills, an awning for wet weather and a sound system for, well, fun.
We certainly wish we had one of these when we were at school.
However we do have the pedal powered pub, which really is the next best thing.
