When it comes to DIY and trying to avoid the task at hand, I'm afraid you no longer have the excuse of not having the knowledge. Ignorance is no longer bliss!
If you haven't come across it before, Instructables is a ‘how to guide' for pretty much anything you would need to mend or make and a whole lot more!
There's everything from changing a bike inner-tube to building your own electric car and even advice on how to make a wheelchair for man's four legged best friend.
There are loads of truly ingenious ideas, like this toilet hack (image below), some may be a little less elegant than others, but that's surely half the fun?!
The only trouble with the website is that you'll get so distracted by the amazing things that you could be doing that you might not actually get round to it!
Definitely a site for helping you to stick with what you got, just get yourself a cup of tea first, you might be browsing a while.
