A fascinating but scary heatmap data visualisation from eBay of every single eBay US shopping transaction - there were over 1 million in 33,000 different postcodes -- during the 24-hours retail frenzy of Black Friday.

PS. granted this was all second-hand stuff, but even better if they were all buying NothingTM instead ;-)

Well, hopefully a decent amount of those transactions were for secondhand goods - perhaps they were buying an old thing, not a new thing? :)
