Green Thing is v. happy to be E-Day-ing it again this year. Especially since this time, it's just plain Scilly.
On Tuesday 6th October, 2010, a family, a school and a community on the Isles of Scilly wlll try and cut their power consumption for 24-hrs.
As usual, E-Day's impressive live electricity meters will show exactly how much energy is being used - by everyone from the individual family t the school and community, even the UK as a whole.
Here at Green Thing, we've created a special E-Day page where you can:
- Watch our Plug Out Boy video and get inspired to start switching stuff off.
- You can also download the video here, make your own soundtrack, then add a story here to share wha you've done.
- And if you're lucky enough to have one of our 300 Green Thing Sticker Packs then you can also take photos of the Switch Off reminders you've plastered on plugs around the house, then share them by adding a story here
That's it. On E-Day, may the force not be with you, if you see what I mean.
