"Ready, Set, Shop". For some in America, Black Friday was a signal to go into a post-thanksgiving pre-Christmas shopping frenzy. For others it was Buy Nothing Day - a "24-hour moratorium on consumer spending."
Today, Saturday 28th November, is International Buy Nothing Day.
