JustGiving Green Things

Why not give something different this holiday season? Something on Facebook perhaps? Maybe a snow dome icon of your favourite charity's creature?

This year we’ve teamed up with the lovely people at JustGiving to launch a new type of gift this holiday season. You can now buy a ‘virtual gift’ from Green Thing on Facebook for a friend for a minimum donation of £2, and you can leave them a message. The gift (a little Green Thing creature in a snow dome) and your message will then appear on your friend’s Facebook wall, and in the newsfeeds of all their friends.

You can also snap up a gift for yourself – it will appear on your wall, with a message saying you are supporting Green Thing. After buying a virtual gift, you can share the app with your Facebook friends, so they can give gifts to their friends.

It’s a really quick, easy and fun! See above? I gave one this morning and it took less than a minute to complete.

Go on, spread some Christmas cheer, and to show your friends and family that you support support Green Thing and want to share the inspiration. To find out more, visit Justgiving's Charity App page Facebook.
