The man should be designing things that make a difference in the world, or at least harm it as little as possible.
Bottled water marketing is the ultimate emperor's new clothes con.
It tells us bottled water tastes amazing becuase it's purified by mountain springs in beautiful or exotic places.
It tells us we're 'wtih it' if we drink it because that's what the 'in crowd' drink.
So when someone like Paul Smith designs a bottle he's helping to perpetuate this myth and more people think they're buying something crucial to not just their health but their self-esteem.
Come on Paul, time to go Easy On The Evian.
