Brilliant project by Dutch designer and author Christien Meindertsma who has documented the ultimate in All-Consuming. Speaking at TED Global 2010, she showed how every single part of a pig (in the case of this project, a particular pig number 05049) is used in a startling array of products from bullets and heart valves to bio diesel, medicine, soap, cigarettes and gelatin in cheesecake.
Her book shows each product in true 1:1 life-size scale.
