Ditching the car and walking the walk for those shorter journeys is not only great exercise and good for cutting CO2 emissions, it can be a positively liberating experience that starts with your feet and dances upwards, feeding your brain in a way that traffic jams, exhaust fumes and road rage never quite manage to.
