The loneliness of a single sock

Bernal Heights Sock Exchange

When we launched Glove Love, a matchmaking service for single gloves, several people asked if we would be doing the same thing for socks. While we don't have any plans to find new mates for lonely socks, here are some ideas of what to do if you've got a single sock on your...errr...hands.

Of course, you could make a sock puppet or a sock monster, but if you're looking for more pratical uses, you could use an old sock to make a wrist rest or a door draft protector. Save on cleaning costs by using widowed socks for dusting or cut off the toes and use them as hand warmers. For more ideas, check out these tips on recycling your socks.

Or take inspiration from this Single Sock Liberation Movement, and just wear mismatched socks!
