Whether you are spending Valentine's Day as part of a loved up twosome or celebrating it with friends, you can't deny that good ole hug is perfect to cheer someone up, show your affection and spread some Human Heat.
So what is all the fuss over hugs for? Well hugging is just great, it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and who doesn't want that? Did you know what the Welsh word 'cwtch' (which has no literal English translation) means to give someone a safe place while hugging and this little word really does sum up why hugs are great. Studies show that hugging can help improve mental and physical health because it releases the feel good brain chemical dopamine. Hugging also helps break barriers between people and communicates that you care. Aww, it really is just lovely.

Just a couple of weeks ago four couples in London broke the record for the longest hug where they embraced for a whopping 24hours and 44 minutes. You don't have to take that much time or change the world with your hug but have a simple heatproducing one to create some Human Heat and put a smile on someone's face. Or if you're lucky you might get a chance for a Cuddle.
