One of the members of the UK youth delegation to Copenhagen is making a series of documentary films through the eyes of the young people whose futures are on the line.
I can't remember what I was doing when I was 23 (or last Wednesday for that matter) but I know it wasn't half as impressive as what these folk are up to.

"The UK Youth Climate Coalition was formed by Emma Biermann and Casper ter Kuile following a life-changing trip to the Arctic. Faced with the terrifying prospect of a future in which rising global temperatures threaten the livelihoods and survival of millions, they decided the time was right to unite, inspire and mobilize for action the young people whose futures are on the line.
In December, the UK Youth Climate Coalition (UKYCC) are sending a team of 23 youth delegates to the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, as the UK Youth Delegation. Myself and one other member of the delegation are creating a series of episodic films to roll out before, during and after the Copenhagen Conference. This is the first film, telling the introductory story of UKYCC co-founder Emma Biermann.
The UKYCC Delegation to Copenhagen will strive to bring the voice and perspective of young people in the UK to bear on the critical climate negotiations, in which youth have by far the highest stake, but are traditionally the most marginalized."
