Make no mistake i think apple and their computers are AWESOME after all I made my video on my old mac which I love. I just don't like the way they use devius tricks to make you think you need there newest product and you have to have it and you are not cool unless you spend your thousands of bucks to buy it. I don't have the macbook air and no one says I'm not cool.

These ads like to play on people's insecurities. It's sometimes obvious, sometimes more subtle.

I just looked up the real ad. This video has a fabricated image of the keyboard.....the standard keyboard is in fact featured on the real advert. So....this video is kind of totally made up. But good moral behind it anyway.

We like Apple but often we just don't need to get the latest new thing however much the maker would like us to think we can't possibly live without its new features

Or, instead of not buying a new one and using Green as an excuse to be cheap, give the computer to charity or sell it for cheap to someone who can use it. In order to be fully green we need to be smart consumers, not just all consumers. We need to support companies like Apple who are committed to a sustainable earth.
