Recycled/Reborn with Tristan Eaton
by Chris Coots

Toymaker Tristan Eaton of Thunderdog Studios and Kidrobot fame finds a bunch of thrown away saw blades, zappers, knives and a water bottles and turns them into a quite magnificent Recycled/Reborn Green Thing toy thing. The video was "slapped together hastily" by Chris Coots of Sassguerrilla and StrawberryFrog. Slapped together perfectly more like.

Just remember, that stuff is still rubbish. One day someone will see it and go "i've got too much stuff, that used to be rubbish so i will throw it away". If you make stuff from rubbish ensure you use stuff that can be dismantled and recycled, or at least make it useful e.g. Shed made out of old wood. We need to think like nature. There is no waste in nature e.g. the forest floor. Designers of the future need to design out waste. Current recycling is just down cycling so we need to make things only out of things that can be recycled. One systems waste should be another systems food. Closed loop recycling at its best: http://www.theableproject.org.uk/
