We’re is looking for two people to join our London team: a Programme Manager and a Web Editor & Community Manager.

Programme Manager

The PM oversees many different work streams (web development, marketing, content production, fundraising, etc), and manages some of them directly. They make sure everything happens when it should, costing what it should and to the highest possible standard of irresistible greatness.

If Green Thing was a restaurant, the PM would be great at keeping different plates spinning while making sure the restaurant served delicious, low food mile meals to delighted customers.

A Website and Community Manager

The Website Manager would love and cherish www.dothegreenthing.com on a day to day basis.  Success would be defined by the Green Thing community loving the website too.  Their role would include managing all site content, making sure everything works as it should, tracking analytics and optimising the site, blogging, participating in the wider web community and updating Green Thing’s presence in other places (video sites, Flickr, MySpace, Facebook, etc).
