Make something
The Green Thing Wiki calculates that every pound we spend on new things creates, on average, about 0.78kgs of CO2. So go on, make something instead of buying something – and even better, use old materials to make it with. Someone very wise once said that a present means more to people when you’ve made it yourself. And if they didn’t, they should have.
