Really Good Thinking is the name of the blog that interviewed Green Thing's Andy Hobsbawm a few months ago (rather than the quality of Andy's thinking itself - although that's sometimes not bad either ;-)
Anyway, here's the interview with Andy where, among other things, he rather prophetically talks about how he hopes Obama can show leadership at the Copenhagen summit in December IF he can "...not get bogged down in the domestic politics and pass the laws and enact the change he wants to bring about.."
Hmmm, sadly he's got very bogged down in domestic politics with his heath care refom, and as a result the key Waxman-Markey climate change bill has suffered.
Still, there's still hope that enough can be done in time for Obama to bring a meaningful US position to the table in December which gets the right outcome from the summit.
All our fingers and Green Thing's tentacles are firmly crossed.
