Used up the fridge and saved some money
I pledged to use up the things in my fridge because to be honest I'm not always that good at keeping track of what I've got, and end up throwing things out if they've been sitting there a while.

I was going to make cauliflower cheese, but didn't have enough cauliflower, so bulked it out with leftover broccoli, used the last of two different cheeses (including a bit of leftover cream cheese) for the sauce, and topped it off with cheesy breadcrumbs made from bread crusts. Quick flash under the grill and that was about it, a cheap but tasty meal that the whole family enjoyed. And probably saved £3 or £4 by not buying it ready-made or getting brand new ingredients because I didn't quite have enough to follow the recipe. (Sorry it's not a great pic, it did taste much nicer than it looks!)
