The other day I was sitting on the tube to Wimbledon and I couldn't help but listen into this teenagers chat about her being wasted the night before...I was pretty depressed by her conversation with her mate, it was early and transport had let me down again. But it wasn't till she got out her chewing gum unwrapped this new piece, took out her old piece, not placing it in the wrapper in her hand but chucking it between the seats. It put me in such a bad mood for the day. What the hell was the point? When she has a wrapper in her hand? Scenes like this really depress me, they make you think about peoples lack of respect for other peoples property, there city and people in general. I know i sound like a wittering old lady, but it is true. From that point on, I am so aware of the speckled pavements of our streets, the birds that dies due to littered gum and the chewing, red faced football managers. Ban it! There is no nutritional benefit and costs our government millions. If your breath smells. Have a polo!
