Have been meaning to try out some of the plants in the Don't Throw it, Grow It! boof for a while. Tonight we planted a sweet potato, some garlic, onions, shallots, and ginger. We'll see what comes up but an least it was like pretending its spring for a couple of minutes :)
someone gave us an amaryllis in this vase once - seemed like a good way to not have to use toothpicks to prop up the sweet potato...
