I try and live green everyday. Cycle to work, recycle anything that can be, sell or give away old possessions instead of throwing them in the trash, drive economically when I need to drive, grow my own vegetables and generally anything else that I can do to not leave too much of a mark on this world.

The thing is, not many people I know do this. They have never sat and thought about the future of this planet when they are dead and gone. The world we live in is a gift to us from life and most of mankind continue to act against it, through ignorance and arrogance.

So what is the point I thought...

If its just me and a few others that are trying to help but know-one else is, then all this effort is going knowwhere!

Its a shame...

A few weeks ago I was sat and thinking, how can we change this or what else can I do? We need to let the government know our thoughts, whether you are in the UK like me or anywhere else in the world. We need to tell them what they are doing wrong.

So thats when it happened. I put together a website within a week, adding green info and funny pictures. The main aspect (and whole point of it) being the petitions. Get the common peoples voice heard and take it straight to the government! To tell them what they are doing wrong and hopefully (edit - not hopefully) ACTUALLY make some changes for once!

I feel satisfied now that I am doing more to make a change. Even if one thing is changed regarding greener living because of the site I will be a happy man.

Thats my story really.

Im not sure whether I can put the site down but its www.greenage.me.uk
