NEED RECIPES: easy on the meat cookbook!

okay green thing-ers! time to get serious on the easy on the meat cook book. time is running out until easy on the meat begins and although this is an on going project, it would be nice to get some contributions soon so we can add them into the book and then onto the site!

once again, i know it's been written before:

thanks to our buddies over central crafts we are being given a BEAUTIFUL sustainable, bark photo album to be able to move forward with our easy on the meat cookbook. as i mentioned previously, the book will not only make its way around to different people – giving them a chance to create art and beauty in personalizing their page – but also will feature green thing user favorites!
we would love to read what some of your favorite recipes are and hopefully they can make ther way into our book’s pages.

e-mail your recipes, artwork, and even some ideas you might have to:
morgandoesthegreenthing@gmail.com

oh and remember! please SPECIFCY if your recipe is VEGETARIAN or VEGAN (no animal by-products i.e. eggs, milk, etc) and also if it contains any nuts (we’re trying to keep the allergic reactions to a minimum, although nuts may be included should that be a part of the recipe).

thanks!

morgan & GT.

i know i know, i have been really crap with writing but then again it has been a crazy couple of weeks down at the GT offices. planning new events, new formatting for the emails, spreading the GT word of mouth, and of course many, many coffees to aid along the way.
but as amazing as all that chaotic scurrying, i would have to say the best part of my job, by far, is playing around with mr. green thing himself. him and i have kind of become bffs and he is taking london by storm. why just yesterday he educated some locals about plugging out as he is eagerly excited for plug out.
it's like 5 am already and i really need to try and get some rest, i know mr. GT is giving me the evil eye for being on my laptop, so i'll shut it off and unplug it, naturally.
nightie night insomniacs.

The time: 2pm Thursday afternoon, 29th January, 2009.

The place: beneath the balcony of London's Hospital Club on the corner of Endell Street and Betterton Street in Covent Garden.

The event: the big launch of Green Thing's Protest Paper Planes featuring limited edition designs drawn by Dinos Chapman, Peter Saville, Gus van Sant, Emma Thompson, James Blunt, James Nesbitt, Jade Parfitt, Derek Jacobi, Daisy de Villeneuve, Noelle Reno, Supermundane and talented community members too.

Come and catch a valuable limited edition print or just come and catch the gist: excess flying 'aint good and lots of people have taken the trouble to say so.

See you there!

want your favorite vegetarian (or vegan) recipe contributed to the easy on the meat: green thing cookbook? let us know what your favorite dishes are and they might make it into the book!
