We're so blessed with nature's bounty at this time of year - our veg boxes are overflowing with delectably plump ripe fruit, and vitality-enriching vitamin-packed vegetables - that we're taking a month off from eating meat.

After months of shunning the local deli because of their plastic containers, I hit on a solution: bring my own. And got into a chat with the friendly owner about corn starch compostable containers, which he'd not heard of, and promised to check out tomorrow when wholesale shopping for the store. Result!
