stick with what you got,
this time it was my old green pullover that went through a makeover.
boiled it, made the cut a little more to the side this time, added some buttons et voila!
ps
the buttons holes are really easy to make. you just make a minimal cut, and because the wool is like felt you can just leave it that way!

I gave my old sweater [that i bought at a thrift store some years ago] new life!
I boiled it [an idea i got thanks to a story by kruse] cut it and put some really cool buttons on it [with anchors on it YEAH!] and pimped it with a broach i got through etsy [btw etsy is AWESOME!..].
be sure you know where you're going!
plan your route online and write it down.. so you don't either get lost or are forced to use your cell phone or whatever to find your way.
get it second hand! it's cheap, unique and greeeeeeheeen.
