How I do the Green Thing. Here is a few ways. (I haven't shared this with anyone yet- your the first) For my pajamas I wear my old warn out shirts! I don't throw them out I wear them to bed until they are good enough for rags. We broke all of our drinking glasses and now we use peanut butter jars! We have a biomass furnace- so for now we burn corn until we can get something better. I have a Eco web business and I try to educated people and offer affordable green products for the family. We use beneficial bugs on our property and grow organic veggies.( still learning though) I recycle or reuse as much as possible or I give to freecycle or goodwill. We built our fence in our yard out of bamboo we cut and finished ourselves. We use non Voc paint. We use green cleaning products. I use old rags to clean and only buy 100% recycled paper towels when I have to and I dry them out and reuse them if possible. I buy used whenever possible. We use glass straws when we go out to drink. We reuse all of our 100% recycled paper again and again until we can't use it any more and then recycle it again. For me being green is also being kind so we catch bugs in our house if possible and set them back outside.
