All-conserving CO2 Calculations

Next to the air we breathe, water is our most precious resource, so it's important not to waste it. Taking water-saving measures in your home could save around 135.85 kg CO2 per year, not to mention thousands upon thousands of litres of water (see here for full calculation and assumptions).

The CO2 values in the slider have been averaged over a month, and split equally over the four data points, calculated as follows:

Q. We need to take care not to waste precious H2O - how much water do you save in your home?

Endpoints:

None = 0 kg CO2

Every last drop -  (135.85) / (12 months) = 11.32 kg CO2

Midpoints:

A bit - (11.32) x (1/3) = 3.77 kg CO2

A lot - (11.32) x (2/3) = 7.55 kg CO2
