Easy on the Meat CO2 Calculations

Chopping out a portion of meat and choosing a veggie dish instead could save around 1.9 kg CO2 per portion (see here for full calculation and assumptions).

The CO2 values in the slider have been averaged over a month, and split equally over the four data points, calculated as follows:

Q. How often in the average week do you choose a veggie or fish dish instead of meat (or buy a vegetarian or fish meal in the supermarket)?

Endpoints:

Never = 0 kg

Always -  (1.9 x 2 portions per day) x (7 days) x (4 weeks)) = 106.40 kg CO2

Midpoints:

A bit - (106.40) x (1/3) = 35.47 kg CO2

A lot - (106.40) x (2/3) = 70.93 kg CO2
