Easy on the shopping trips CO2 Calculations

Choosing to have your groceries delivered rather than making the journey yourself could save around 1.64 kg CO2 per trip (see here for full calculation and assumptions).

The CO2 values in the slider have been averaged over a month, and split equally over the four data points, calculated as follows:

Q. How often do you order home-delivered groceries online instead of taking the car for the weekly shop?

Endpoints:

Never = 0 kg

Always (once a week or more) - (1.64) x (4 weeks) = 6.56 kg CO2

Midpoints:

Once or twice a month - (6.56) x (1/3) = 2.19 kg CO2

Three times a month - (6.56) x (2/3) = 4.37 kg CO2
