Keep the House Heat CO2 Calculations

Insulating your home could save around hundreds of kg CO2 per year as well as keeping energy bills low (see here for full calculation and assumptions).

The CO2 values in the slider have been averaged over a month, with all the selected options together added as follows:

Q. How much heat does your home keep? Say which, if any, of these heat-keeping things you've got:

Draught proofing = 140 kg CO2 per year = 11.67 kg CO2 per month

Loft or wall insulation = 490 kg CO2 per year = 40.83 kg CO2 per month

Double-glazing = 740 kg CO2 per year = 61.67 kg CO2 per month
