Pedal the Pedals CO2 Calculations

Choosing to cycle instead of driving could save around 2.01 kg CO2 per day (see here for calculation and assumptions).

The CO2 values in the slider have been averaged over a month, and split equally over the four data points, calculated as follows:

Q. How often do you cycle instead of taking the car?

Endpoints:

Never, always drive - 0 kg

Always cycle -  (2.01) x (7 days) x (4 weeks) = 56.28 kg CO2

Midpoints:

Cycle a bit - (56.28) x (1/3) = 18.76 kg CO2

Cycle a lot - (56.28) x (2/3) =  37.52 kg CO2
