Plug Out CO2 Calculations

Turning machines and lights off when you're not using them could save around 1.88 kg CO2 per day (see here for full calculation and assumptions).

The CO2 values in the slider have been averaged over a month, and split equally over the four data points, calculated as follows:

Q. How often do you turn your machines off standby, or turn off lights you don't need, or unplug things you're not using?

Endpoints:

Never = 0 kg

Always -  (1.88) x (7 days) x (4 weeks) = 52.64 kg CO2

Midpoints:

A bit - (52.64) x (1/3) = 17.55 kg CO2

A lot - (52.64) x (2/3) = 35.09 kg CO2
