Swap What You Got CO2 Calculations

Swapping or borrowing what you need from someone instead of buying it brand new could save at least around 9.73 kg CO2 per item (see here for full calculation and assumptions).

The CO2 values in the slider have been averaged over a month, and split equally over the four data points, calculated as follows:

Q. How often in the last 6 months were you able to swap or borrow something instead of buying it new?

Endpoints:

Never - 0 kg

Always (7 times or more) -  (9.73 x 7 times) / (6 months) = 11.35 kg CO2

Midpoints:

Swapped a bit - (11.35) x (1/3) = 3.78 kg CO2

Swapped a lot - (11.35) x (2/3) = 7.57 kg CO2
